Enrique Ocanas Obituary

OCANAS Robstown, TexasEnrique 'Henry' Hernandez Ocanas, 72, went to be with our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 11, 2010. He was born on April 07, 1938 in Robstown, Texas to Felix Garcia Ocanas, Sr. and Alejandrina Hernandez Ocanas. Henry was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, a musician and a composer who enjoyed playing his trumpet with numerous Mariachi Groups. He also enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.Henry goes home to reunite with his parents: Felix and Alejandrina Ocanas, Sr., and two brothers: Eduardo Ocanas and Genaro Ocanas who preceded him in death.He leaves to cherish his memories, his four brothers, Felix (Irma) Ocanas, Jr., Troy (Josie) Ocanas, Elbert (Jane) Ocanas, Sr. all of Corpus Christi, Texas, Joe (Noelia) Ocanas of Robstown, Texas; his four sisters, Connie (Ruben) Lopez of Alvin, Texas, Esperanza (Eusebio) Cano of Corpus Christi, Texas, Guadalupe (Alex) Mosqueda of Austin, Texas and Ernestina (Larry) Pena of Friendswood, Texas; his sister-in-law, Manuela Ocanas of Robstown, Texas. He will also be missed by his numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A Rosary will be recited at 7pm on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown, Texas. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am on Friday, May 14, 2010 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Robstown, Texas. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Robstown, Texas.
