George G. Bazan

BAZAN George G. Bazan, age 59, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2011 due to a short battle with cancer. He was born December 10, 1951 to Issac Bazan and Josephina Gonzalez and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. He married his wife of 41 years on February 28, 1970. George was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, cousin, uncle and nephew. He was a graduate of W.B. Ray High School. He worked many years for Bay LTD before becoming disabled. George enjoyed fishing and family gatherings. He will always be remembered for his love of laughter, sense of adventure, devotion to family and as known to some as living the crazy life.He is preceded in death by his biological father, Issac Bazan; parents: Josephina and Felipe 'Chuco' Molina; brother, Juan Bazan and sister, Sylvia Tittle. Survivors include his wife, Trinidad Bazan; daughters: Melissa (Mark) Hernandez, Lisa (Jorge) Morin, Krystal (Armando) Alvarez; grandchildren: Mark Jr., Michael, Marissa, Miranda, Jorge Jr., Jacob, Jazmine, Mathew and Madeline; brothers: Jose Guadalupe Bazan, Robert Bazan; sister, Anita Bazan and many nephews and nieces.Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M., that same evening.A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home.Services will conclude in the chapel.
