Gerardo "Jerry" Guajardo, Sr. age 53, passed away on July 14, 2017.
Gerardo was born November 5, 1963 to Macedonio and Santos Guajardo. He graduated from Foy H. Moody High School in 1983. He was self-employed, running and owning G & G Lawnmower Service. Gerardo enjoyed listening to Christian Music and also enjoyed fishing. He was a sports enthusiast, having a great love for Moody Baseball and the New England Patriots. He also was a big sports memorabilia collector. He will always be remembered for his passion for coaching Little League baseball (International and Westside Ball Parks). He was a joker, had a great sense of humor, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. Gerardo was a loving son, husband, father, brother and uncle.
Gerardo is preceded in death by his parents, Macedonio Guajardo, Sr. and Santos B. Guajardo, brother, Macedonio Guajardo, Jr., sister, Esmeralda Salinas and his loving mother-in-law, Margarita Tobias.
Gerardo is survived by his loving wife, Beatrice T. Guajardo. She was his Junior High Sweetheart and they were married for 28 years. He is also survived by his children, Erica Marie Guajardo, Sabrina Leeann Guajardo, Gerardo Guajardo, Jr.; sisters, Yolanda (Frank) Granados, Mary Alice (Domingo) Rodriguez, Lali (Freddie) Garcia, Sylvia (Domingo) Naranjo, Amelia (David) Figueroa, Guadalupe Zuniga; brother, Felix (Margie) Guajardo and numerous nephews and nieces.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church.
Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

To my Tia Beatrice and family,
I wish so badly to be there. I'm sending my condolences. Tio was an amazing and funny man. I only have funny and great memories of him. His character was simply great. Every time I seen him it was nothing but fun.
He truly will be missed. I will always remember his laugh and joking around.
Funny man. Loved my tio.
