Gerry Francis Obituary

Gerry David Francis, 57, passed away on January 18, 2008. He was born on June 26, 1950 to Glen and Dorothy Francis and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. He married his wife, Cathryn Bray Francis of 36 years on January 22, 1972. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He served in the Army from 1968 to 1970 where he served in Vietnam. Gerry Francis was employed by Corpus Christi Army Depot. He was an avid fisherman. Gerry will always be remembered for his love for his friends and family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Dorothy Francis and his brothers, Johnny and Danny Francis. Gerry will be extremely missed by his loving wife, Cathryn Francis; son, Scott Francis; daughter, Dawn Francis; grandsons, Jimmy and Nathan; granddaughters, Courtney, Azalia, and Jasmine; adopted son, Darrin Smith; brother, Terry Francis of Omaha, Nebraska; sisters, Christina Allen and Rosemary Stone both of Omaha, Nebraska, and his many other family members and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the family for Gerry?s final care.
