Glenda Gunter Obituary
Calallen, TX
Glenda Gunter, age 75, of Calallen, passed away December 11, 2018. She was born June 3, 1943 in Donna, Texas to John H. and Evelyn Webb.
Glenda was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a long time member and Sunday School teacher of Annaville Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Chris.
She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-seven years, Claude Gunter; a son, Johnnie (Cherie) Gunter of Canton, Georgia; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren; two sisters, Jeanie Goldman of Sinton, Texas and Judy McGee of Corpus Christi, Texas; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family present will be from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Monday, December 17, 2018 at Annaville Baptist Church with Bro. Robert Simmons and Bro. Pat Bullock officiating. Burial will follow at Robstown Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make contributions to Glenda's Sunday School Class, in care of Annaville Baptist Church, 4025 Violet Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78410.

Claude and family so very sorry for your immense loss of Glenda. She was a gracious loving woman. She loved the Lord very much and read His word everyday. She was such an inspiration to me and my family and I loved her for it. I was so happy when my kids were old enough to be in the Youth Sunday School because I knew they would be taught God's Word. A very gracious Christian Woman .

Claude and family, my wife and I are so very sorry to hear this sad news. She will be missed by so many. No words can ease the pain you all feel but knowing y'all have a beautiful angel in heaven looking down on her loved ones will be heart warming to all.
