Arthur Lott Obituary

Arthur E. LottCorpus Christi, TXArthur Eugene Lott was born in Goliad County, to the union of Ruben and Carrie Lott on February 10, 1933, and departed to his heavenly home on January 23, 2016. He served in the US Army and fought in the Korean War. During his service in the Army he was awarded three Bronze Stars for his heroic acts and meritorious achievements and was honorably discharged in July 1953. He worked as a Mail Carrier for the US Postal Service for 27 years.Arthur is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Aline Lott, sons, Kenneth (Gay) Lott of Houston, Texas, and Thomas (SeRaphia) Lott of Sinton, Texas, and daughter, Darlyn (John) Belle of Corpus Christi, Texas, his brother, Percy (Lillie) Lott of Houston, Texas, grandchildren: La-Donya Smith of Corpus Christi, Texas, Verlon Smith of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Traci (Darryl) Hart of Austin, Texas, Timothy (Chelsie) Hearne of Moore, Oklahoma, Tiffany Hearne of Arlington, Texas, Donyell Lott of Houston, Texas and Joseph Lister of Corpus Christi, Texas; five great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., at St. John Baptist Church with Pastor Derrick Reaves, Officiating.Interment to follow at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
