Jose Martinez, III, age 58, passed away July 4, 2017. He was born on September 20, 1958 to Martha Facundo in San Antonio, Texas. He was raised in Brownfield, Texas.

He graduated from Brownfield High School. He married his wife of 27 years on June 16, 1990. Joe was employed to Bay, L.T.D. Joe was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother and cousin. Joe enjoyed participation in fishing, family bar-be-ques, motorcycle bike riding and spending quality time with his children and grandchildren. He will always be remembered for his devotion to family and you could always count on him.

Joe is preceded in death by his mother, Martha Facundo who passed away on May 20, 2017 forty-five days apart.

Joe is survived by his wife, Angie, sons, Joe and Vanessa Martinez, Jerry and Tiffany Martinez, daughter, Jovina Martinez, son, Joe Ray Martinez; 8 grandsons, 6 granddaughters, 2 great-granddaughters, sisters, Paula and Robert De La Garza, Janie Facundo - Blanca Guerra; brother, Savino (Sal) and Mary Facundo; sisters, Dee and Rolando Sifuentes, and Jovina Lopez; aunt, Benita Perez; cousin, Gloria Leyva and countless others.

The family will be receiving friends Thursday, July 6, 2017 at FDA Memorial Holly F.H. from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Christ the King Catholic Church, 3423 Rojo Street, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415 at 10:00 a.m. with interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
