Juan Lopez Obituary

Juan "Johnny" Orlando Lopez, 52, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2005 in a Corpus Christi hospital following a long illness.He was born in Corpus Christi and had resided in Odem for the past 15 years. He had been employed as a maintenance man for HEB and then as a delivery man for Wilcox Furniture Co. He was preceded in death by his son, Juan Jose Lopez.Survivors include his wife, Ofelia L. Lopez of Odem, Texas; one daughter, Elia Veronica (Felix) Sanchez of Sinton, Texas; three grandchildren: Anthony, Andrew, and Allissa Sanchez; his parents, Dolores and Jose Guadalupe Lopez of Houston, Texas; one brother, Christopher Lopez of Waxahachie, Texas; two sisters, Leticia Bravo and Ybette Hernandez of Houston, Texas.A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 25, 2005, at the Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 26, 2005 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Odem, with Father Henry Heese and Father David Taurasi, as celebrants.
