Juanita Olguin Obituary
Mrs. Juanita M. Olguin, 87, loving mother, cherished grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and beloved sister went to be with our Lord on Saturday, March 26, 2005 in Corpus Christi, Texas surrounded by her loving family by her side. Juanita was born on May 24, 1917 to Aniceto and Nicolasa De Los Santos Mata and was a former resident of Robstown, Texas until she moved to Corpus Christi where she resided there for the past six years. Her absence from our lives will be an enormous one but remembering all her memories and her loving qualities will help lessen that void. Juanita enjoyed gardening, quilting, embroidering but most of all she loved to travel to the casinos. She also enjoyed watching the Houston Astros. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Robstown, a former member of the Robstown Senior Citizen's Center and the Blue Angles. She will be missed tremendously and is forever in our hearts.Juanita goes home to reunite with her devoted husband, Pablo Olguin, her sons, Bernabe Olguin, Jesus Olguin, her parents, and her siblings whom she is preceded in death by.She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her sons, Alvaro (Minerva) Olguin of Taft, Texas, Santana Olguin, Nieves (Carmen) Olguin, Isaac (Cruz) Olguin all of Freeport, Texas, Juan (Armandina) Olguin, Roberto (San Juana) Olguin, Sr., both of Robstown, Texas; her daughters, Juanita Trevino of Port Lavaca, Texas, Teresa (Donaciano) Sustaita of Lewisville, Texas, Frances Olguin of Corpus Christi, Texas; her sister, Mrs. Ramona Martinez of Victoria, Texas; and her sister-in-law, Mrs. Guadalupe Mata of Robstown, Texas. She was also blessed and adored by her 40 grandchildren, 77 great-grandchildren, 39 great-great grandchildren, her grandcat, Katie and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 27, 2005 & Monday, March 28, 2005 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown, Texas. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Robstown, Texas.Interment will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery.A special Thank You goes to Dr. Andres Bonellli, Dr. Juan Bahamon, The 8B Team at Christus Spohn Shoreline Hospital and Christus Spohn Shoreline Hospice. An extra special Thank You goes to her caregiver and Special Angel, Mrs. Linda Torres, whom Juanita adopted as her honorary granddaughter.Pallbearers will be Santana Olguin, Isaac Olguin, Joe Olguin, Robert Olguin, Jr., Alvaro Olguin, and Nieves Olguin.
