Margarito Salinas Obituary

Margarito B. "El Mage" Salinas, Sr., 73, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2005 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born in Hebbronville, Texas on September 4, 1931 to Benjamin and Luisa Salinas.Margarito was employed with Mr. K's for 30 years, and his favorite saying was "You better don't".He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Elida C. Salinas in 1983; two brothers, Benjamin B. Salinas, Jr., Oscar B. Salinas, Sr.; three sisters, Aurora Palacios, Adoracion Villegas, and America Salinas.Margarito is survived by his seven loving children, Margarito Salinas, Jr., Luisa (Gary) Rapier, Javier (Clem) Salinas, David Salinas, Noe (Anna) Salinas, Dolores (Randy) Vasquez, Marcos (Velma) Salinas; 21 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three step grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren brother Alfonso B. Salinas all of Corpus Christi, Texas.Pallbearers will be Margarito Salinas, Jr., Javier Salinas, David Salinas, Noe Salinas, Marcos Salinas, Gary Rapier; Honorary Pallbearer will be Randy Vasquez. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2005 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.,Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 4, 2005 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
