Norma Ramirez Obituary

RAMIREZ Falfurrias, TexasNorma Idalia Ramirez, 81 years old, went to be with our Lord on April 24, 2010 surrounded by her loving family and friends. Idalia was born in Falfurrias, then moved to Lubbock where they lived for many years until she and Adalberto moved to San Antonio to live with daughter, Anna Lee. She enjoyed many years with Anna, surrounded by the love of grandchildren and great grandchildren who were always close by. Idalia was kind, sincere, gentle, faithful, and was loved deeply by everyone who knew her. She made everyone feel special and unique and the memories she left behind for us will always be treasured. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adalberto Ramirez; her parents: Gustavo and Lilia Barrera, and brother, Octavio Barrera. She is survived by her daughter, Anna Lee Ramos; grandsons: Sergio (Lizbell) and Michael (Alisha); grand-daughter, Leanna Ramos (Bryan); three great grand-daughters: Emily, Leneya, and Annabella, all from San Antonio; brothers: Gustavo (Nori) Barrera from Harlingen and Rodolfo (Lydia) Barrera from Falfurrias, and sister, Ana (Raul) Guerra from Falfurrias. Rosary is Monday April 26, 2010 7:00 p.m., Alaniz Funeral Home.Mass at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday April 27, 2010 at Sacred Heart Church, followed by graveside services at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
