Philip Rosenstein Obituary

ROSENSTEIN Philip Rosenstein, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2012. He was born on July 2, 1925 to Anna Bilek, and William Rosenstein.He enlisted in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged; he also served in the United States Army and was also honorably discharged from the Army. Philip Rosenstein was a merchant marine for over 35 years. He enjoyed participation in The Senior Citizen Center, and he was also a local political activist. He will always be remembered for his silly jokes. Philip Rosenstein enjoyed going to dances with his wife before she passed away. He also enjoyed the chile rellenos at Taqueria Acapulco on Airline every week. Philip Rosenstein is preceded in death by his wife of eleven years Ada Margarita Rosenstein.Philip Rosenstein is survived by his nephew Alejandro Garza and wife Mary Jane and his niece Florencia Alaniz and husband David all of Corpus Christi, also a great niece Sarah Hinojosa (Alvaro), great nephew David Anthony Alaniz, and great great niece Allie Hinojosa.Memorial Service will be celebrated at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 10:00 A.M.
