Roger Strahm Obituary

Roger J. Strahm (71) passed away June 30, 2007 at his home of 27 years in Ingleside, TX. He was born and lived for over 40 years in Wisconsin. He served 3 years in the Army. He was a member of the Eagles, Moose Lodge, and the American Legion. He enjoyed football, softball, cards, bowling, golf and pool. He always enjoyed telling jokes and making wise cracks (Which often got him in trouble). He was very proud of being 100% Swiss. He enjoyed reading the obits on the computer the last several years, and then he would tell me different stories about that person. (Well Dad this one is for you!!!). He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (They will celebrate their 50th Anniversary together); parents, Anna and Jacob Strahm; sister, Joyce VanDrell; brother-in-law, Jack Powell; in-laws, Irene and Wendell Ingraham; and sister-in-law, Ruth Mary Ingraham. Roger is survived by his 4 daughters: Denise Strahm and Sharon Strahm both of Beaver Dam, WI, Sandra Melville (David) of Waukesha, WI, and Sheila “Petey� Strahm (Jamey Hale) of Aransas Pass, TX; 6 grand children, (Sandi’s) Tyler and Jacob Melville. (Sherri’s) Bradlee Kilgore and (Petey’s) William Hale, Aaron and Amanda Bricker; 1 great-grandson (Aaron’s); sister, Tootie Powell of Lewisville, TX; 3 sisters-in law, Connie Smith (Omer), Mary Jane Hoch (Charles) and Susan Cameron (Bob). Dad requested no services be held. Arrangements entrusted to: Charlie Marshall Funeral Homes and Crematory Aransas Pass, Texas 800/428-2922
