Ruben Saucedo Obituary
Corpus Christi - Ruben Saucedo, age 73, passed away on November 26, 2020. Ruben was born on January 20, 1947 to Earl Saucedo and Barbara Pena Saucedo. He was born in and lived majority of his life in Galveston, Texas. He was employed by Bay LTD as a rig welder. Ruben was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will always be remembered for being real and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Ruben is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Barbara Saucedo, brother, Danny Saucedo and sister, Alicia Saucedo.
Left behind to cherish Ruben's memory is his wife, Janie Saucedo, sister, Linda Solis, 5 children; daughter, Monica Saucedo and her 3 children, Junior Ibarra, Miranda Nava and Yvanna Gonzalez, daughter, Elizabeth (Red) Padron, Mimi (Fabian) Villarreal, sons; Richard (Veronica) Ramos, Martin (Sylvia) Gorostiza, 21 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
Having the honor to serve, as pallbearers are Junior Ibarra, David Ramos, Ernest Nesmith, Angel Pinto, Richard Ramos and Martin Gorostiza.
