Ruven Ramirez Corpus Christi , TXRuven Ramirez age 67, entered eternal rest on June 28, 2013. He was born on February 27, 1946 to Francisca Estrada and Joaquin Ramirez in Luling, Texas.He graduated from Carroll High School and attended Del Mar College. He was employed with Central Power and Light Company (AEP) for 33 years as a working foreman and retired in 2001. Upon retirement he devoted his time and love to his family and traveling. He will always be remembered for his laughter, love of conversation and his hard working ethic. Ruven was a very loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. His dedication to his family and loved ones was unequivocal and known by all who knew him. Ruven enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf, but mostly being surrounded by his family and building new memories.He is preceded in death by his mother Francisca Ramirez, his father Joaquin Ramirez, sister Eloise Garcia, grandsons Austin James Visintine and Gabriel John Visintine.He is survived by his adoring wife Olga Ramirez; daughters Melissa Jones, Patricia Ramirez and Laura Visintine; grandchildren Kristin Gutierrez, Christopher Perez, Alyssa Perez, Jordan Lockhart, Jeremiah Arnold, Sara Lockhart, Christian Visintine and Emma Visintine; great grandchildren Brooklyn Burgess, Raelyne Perez, Avery Gallardo and Aria Arnold. Brothers Joaquin Ramirez Jr., Johnny Ramirez, Jesse Ramirez and sisters, Mary Gomez and Lupe Castillo. Ruven was loved by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be deeply missed by all who he touched with his charismatic personality that captivated everyone he met.
