Timoteo "Tim" Rodriguez Jr., 64, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, surrounded by his family. Tim was born in Corpus Christi, TX on September 12, 1952 to Elvira Ninfa and Timoteo C. Rodriguez, Sr. He was the second of 8 children. Tim taught us so much within the time of his journey, he will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Elvira Ninfa Rodriguez and long time friend, Joyce Lockhart.

Tim attended W.B. Ray HS. He was honored to serve our country in the U.S. Army, 1st Infantry Division. He was a Veteran and a lifetime member of The American Legion, Post 364. His greatest passion was listening to "The Beatles" music and writing poetry. Tim's profession was being a Security Supervisor for Padre Staples Mall and Memorial Medical Center before taking ill in 2004.

Tim is survived by his father, Timoteo C. Rodriguez, Sr. (Maria De La Luz Proa), his children, Pastor Dominic (Gracie) Rodriguez of Banquete, TX, Onie (Danielle) Rodriguez of San Antonio, TX, Irene (Mark) Beauford, Jennie (Luis) Morales and Michael Ritchie Rodriguez (Danielle Casares) all of Corpus Christi and eight grandchildren. His brothers and sisters, Diana (Pete) Gonzalez of Victorville, California, Lucia (Benito) Anaya of Beeville, TX, Jaime Rodriguez (Mary Sanchez) of Portland, TX, Rolando (Delma) Rodriguez, Connie (Joe) Abrigo, Cindy (Rudy) Benavides and Margie (Jorge) Higareda, all of Corpus Christi, TX and numerous nephews and nieces.

A message from Tim, himself: Thank you to Nurses on Wheels Hospice, Richard Alonzo, and Chaplin, John Forbus, for being there for me and my family. Also a very Special thank you, "To you, my little sister and brother in law, Margie and Jorge Higareda, you opened your home and took me under your wings. You cared for me and provided me with a loving, spiritual and comfortable home during my journey to be with our Lord and for this, I love you both very much!"

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 18 from 5-9 p.m. at Guardian Funeral Home with a Holy Rosary at 7 pm that evening. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, June 19 at Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church 3210 S Padre Island Dr, C.C.TX 78415 Burial will follow at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, 9974 IH 37 Access Rd, C.C.TX, with full Military Honors.

Pallbearers will be Dominic Rodriguez, Onie Rodriguez, Michael Ritchie Rodriguez, Mark Beauford, Matthew Hinojosa and Benito Anaya.

Oh, our wonderful Brother, how we miss you. Your kindness and humor that kept us going through out your journey here on this earth. So much happened when you departed. Ten months later, Dad joined you and after that our Sister Diane also joined you. It gives me comfort knowing your all together with Mom, Abuela Consuelo and all our other loved ones. i know you all are watching over us.
