Andrew Andreadis Obituary

Andreadis, Andrew,
age 86 of North Canton,
passed away Monday afternoon. Born in Canton to the late John and Christina (Janidas) Andreadis. He was also preceded in death by son, John Andrew, brother and sister-in-law, George and Athena Andreadis. A 1940 graduate of Canton McKinley High School, he was an Army veteran of World War II. Andrew was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and also attended Holy Assumption Russian Orthodox Church. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Nitsa (Petanidou) Andreadis; son, Andrew John Andreadis of Rocky River; daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Pete Sklavounos of Canton; granddaughter, Kelly Sklavounos; brother Pete J. Andreadis of Pasadena, CA; nephews, George (Debbie) Andreadis and John (Dana) Andreadis; great-niece, Dr. Athena Andreadis; and great-nephew, John Andreadis. Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. in the Rossi Funeral Home and Friday morning in church from 10-11 a.m. Trisagion Services will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church with Rev. Fr. Daniel Rogich officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to Community Dialysis at Mercy Medical Center for their love and care of Andrew and Nitsa.

Nitsa & Family... Andy was my shining light every time I saw him! My prayers and heart are with you and your family during this difficult time. It was my pleasure to get to know and take care of "My Andy" during dialysis and I thank you for the opportunity. He was such a blessing!
