Anthony Fernell Obituary
Tony R. Fernell of Canton, Ohio, passed away Feb. 7, 2016, at the Cleveland Clinic at the age of 51. He was born March 8, 1964 in Canton. Tony proudly served his country for four years in the U.S. Army and two additional years in the reserve. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Tony enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing, camping, racing, gardening and watching his Steelers.
Tony is survived by his wife, Cynthia; parents, Sam and Charlotte Fernell Jr.; children: Anthony Fernell Jr., Zeke Fernell, Dion Eberly and Christina (John) Lee; siblings: Mike (Teresa) Fernell and Sam (Yvonne) Fernell III; four grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Tony's family will receive friends Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville. He will be laid to rest with full military honors in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Veteran's Administration.

I did not know Tony very long but I really enjoyed working with him. He had an amazing sense of humor and I loved listening to his stories. I only heard of his passing today and am truly sorry. He will be missed.

My thoughts,sympathies and prayers go out to Tony's family, especially "Little" Tony and Zeke. Your father was a dear friend since high school. He has been taken to Heaven and all his pain has been erased. We will miss him forever, especially his smile and joking ways. Hold all the good memories close to your heart. Am so sorry for your loss. I only met Tony a couple of times but he seemed like a great man. We had fun playing euchre and we enjoyed the company he offered. Am so sorry, prayers go out to his family and friends.
