Caroline E.
(Rini) Stiers
Caroline E. (Rini) Stiers, age 83, died Monday in Aultman Hospital after an eight week illness. She was a life resident of Canton and retired from Aultman Hospital. Caroline was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, O.L.O.P. Senior Citizens, O.L.O.P. Ladies Guild, Mercy Medical Center Senior Friends, National Council of Catholic Women, and was an avid Bridge player. She was formerly active at St. Paul's Parish in Canton. Preceded in death by her first husband, Fred Rini in 2001; her second husband, Thomas Stiers in 2006; twin infant daughters; and her parents, Otto J. and Cora Weber. Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Robert Singer of Highlands Ranch, CO and Cathy and Douglas Williams of N. Canton; son and daughter-in-law, Patrick and Carol Rini of Centerville, OH; brother, W.J. Weber of N. Canton; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Crum as Celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 6-9 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the O.L.O.P. Building Fund. Dear Family,

I have truly been privileged to have had Caroline as a friend for many years. She was one of the sweetest and kindest women I have ever known--always ready to look at pictures or listen to a story about my grandchildren. I will miss Caroline dearly. May she be blessed and rest in peace.
