Cathy Tish'Chara Prowell-Ursery

passed on July 27, 2021. Cathy was born on March 11, 1972, in Massillon, Ohio. Cathy graduated from North Central High School in Indianapolis, Ind. She was a graduate of Kentucky State University, a proud member of the Mighty Marching Thoroughbred Band. While at Kentucky State University, she joined the Alpha Pi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Cathy was a lover of the arts, especially music and poetry. She was a budding artist with a desire to share her talents with the world. Quick-witted, humorous and kind-hearted is how family and friends will always remember her. Cathy accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior, at an early age. She was baptized at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Indianapolis, Ind.

Preceded was she in death by her mother, Cathy Yvonne Prowell-Ursery. Her loving family: father, Robert L. Ursery, Jr.; sisters, Robin L. Elaiho (Eseosa Elaiho), Debi L. Ursery, and Yolanda D. Ursery; nephew, Evan Elaiho; niece, Nadia Elaiho; dog, Midnight and a host of family and friends survive Cathy.

On Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2021, Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon, Ohio, will hold the funeral services. The viewing will begin at 10 a.m. with service following at 11 a.m. Those unable to attend the service may go to www.paquelet.com at 11 a.m. and click on Facebook Live Streaming in Cathy's obituary. Arrangements are by Paquelet Funeral Home, 100 Wales Road NE, Massillon, OH 44646. Graveside committal service will be held at 1 P.M. on Thursday, Aug. 5, 2021, at Oakwood Cemetery. Paquelet Funeral Home at 100 Wales Road NE, Massillon, OH 44646, will accept flowers and memorial gifts on behalf of the family.
