'Chuck' McAfee
53 of North Canton, Ohio died peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family on May 6, 2010. He was born July 3, 1956 in Dennison, Ohio. He was a 1974 graduate of Cadiz High School and attended the University of Akron. Chuck was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church, Middlebranch, Ohio. He was employed by Rose Pest Specialists as a National Senior Account Manager in Cuyahoga Falls and was recognized for his accomplishments as a Presidents Club member, Ron Hornberg 'Peddler' Award winner three times and a million dollar salesman for Copesan in 2008. His greatest pride was his family, wife and children for their accomplishments. Chuck coached his children in baseball, basketball and soccer. He enjoyed golf and his claim to fame was his first hole-in-one.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Diane M. Wanchic McAfee whom he married on Aug. 10, 1996; children, Kyle Joseph and Lindsay Marie, both at home; mother, Eunice Faye White McAfee and siblings, George 'Smoke' (Carol) McAfee, Donna Tipton and Darlene (Ralph) Christy all of Hopedale. He was preceded in death by his father, George McAfee, Jr. and three siblings.
Friends may call at Dunlope- Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio (43953) on Sunday 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. On Monday, friends may call at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 204 St. Clair Street, Mingo Junction, Ohio (43938) from 9:30 a.m. until the time of funeral liturgy with mass at 10 a.m. with Rev. James Dunfee and Rev. John Zuzik co-celebrating. Entombment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Vigil service 8:45 p.m. Sunday. On Thursday, May 13, the family will receive friends at Little Flower Catholic Church from 10 a.m. until the time of a memorial mass at noon. Memorials may be directed to Mercy Medical Center Hospice, 7568 Whipple Ave. N.W., North Canton, OH 44720. Offer condolences at www.shorac.com

We are so sorry to hear of Chuck's passing. He coached our son last year in the all star league and taught Michael so much!!! He was not only a wonderful person, and a great coach, but was always so great with ALL the kids. Our prayers are with you all. May God touch your hearts and give you peace.
