Charles Oldfield Obituary

Charles D. Oldfield
age 64, of Canton, passed away Thursday morning in Summit's Trace of Greater Canton. He was born Dec. 25, 1945 in New Matamoras, Ohio. He attended McKinley High School and was a member of the Canton Serenity Club.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Oldfield; brother, Carl Oldfield and sister, Wanda Elfen. He is survived by his two children, Charles W. Oldfield of Canton; daughter, Stacy Oldfield of Hayden, Idaho; mother, Nellie Downing of Marietta; two sisters, Gay Miller of Baltic, Martha DeGreef of Louisville; two brothers, Mark (Betty) Oldfield of Minerva, Eugene (Chris) Downing of Canton; sister-in-law, Dora Oldfield of Canton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel. Interment will be in Newport Cemetery, Newport, Ohio. Calling hours will be held Monday from 5-7 p.m. in the funeral home. Those wishing to send their condolences or share a fond memory may sign the Reed On Line guestbook at www.reedfuneralhome.com
