Clifford McCourt Obituary
age 82, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016. He was born Feb. 27, 1934 in Lumberport, W.Va. to the late William E. McCourt and Dorthea (Clutter) McCourt. His past employments was at the Timken Company and Millcraft Paper Company; married Norma J. (Cooper) McCourt on Feb. 5, 1959; and he was a Protestant.
Preceding in death in addition to his parents, were two sisters, Lorraine Holcomb and Anne Fullen. Survivors include Clifford's wife, Norma of 57 years; three sons, Bart (Jana) McCourt, Ron McCourt, and Tom (Diane) McCourt; one daughter, Sherada (Pat) Byers; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
His wishes were cremation. A gathering will be held in the family's home, Friday, May 27, 2016 from 4-7 p.m.. Inurnment of ashes will be at Big Run Cemetery in Diana, West Virginia. In charge of arrangements is the Reed Funeral Home - CANTON Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mercy Hospice 4389 Whipple Avenue N.W. Canton, Ohio 44718.
