age 64, was 'Promoted to Glory' on Sunday, March 30, 2014, surrounded by his precious family in San Antonio, Texas.
Dale is survived by his mother, Lilly Miller of Louisville, Ohio, sister, Karen Miller Ickes and
family of North Canton, Ohio; and brother, Don Miller and family of Louisville, Ohio. Dale leaves behind his loving wife and best friend, Linda Wilkins Miller of San Antonio, Texas,;son, Kyle Miller and family of Cedarville, Ohio; and daughter, Kristie Miller Valdes and family of San Antonio, Texas; along with five beautiful grandchildren, Olivia, Jackson, and Chloe Miller and Bella & Hunter Valdes. Dale was preceded in death by his father, O.D. Miller of Louisville, Ohio and his father-in-law, Hal Wilkins, of San Antonio, Texas.
Dale was a graduate of Louisville High School and Otterbein College. He was co-owner of O.D. Miller Electric Company in Louisville, Ohio.
A 'Home Going Celebration of Life' service is planned at Community Bible Church, San Antonio, Texas, on May 10, 2014 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers please honor Dale's commitment to Christian Education with a donation to SACS Elementary Principal Fund with 'Dale Miller' written on the memo line. Donations should be mailed to: San Antonio Christian School, c/o Phil Paden, 19202 Redland Road, San Antonio, Texas 78259. These monies will help meet the needs of elementary teachers and their families. It was Dale's desire to be cremated. At a future date his ashes will be placed in a Columbarium at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas, with military honors.
