David Gaskell Obituary
Gaskell
David James Gaskell, born February 9, 1956, he went to be with his loved ones in the Lord's house on August 16, 2008, after losing his battle with cancer. Preceded in death by his brother, Paul. Survived by his wife, Rhonda K. (Gatts) Gaskell; father to Terry L. Gaskell and Christopher A. Gaskell; son of Oliver and Rosemary Gaskell; brother to Richard and Barbara Gaskell; special friend to Mike Hinkle; also leaving behind many relatives and friends, but never forgetting them. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. at the Welch-Sekeres-Lewis Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2008 at the funeral home at 10 a.m. with Fr. Thomas Bishop officiating. Burial at Henry Warstler Cemetery. A reception will follow at St. Raphael Center, located at: 4365 Fulton Dr. NW. In addition to, there will be a Memorial Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1530 - 11th St. SE, Canton, OH, on Saturday, August 23, 2008. Celebrant will be Fr. Thomas Bishop.

Dear Gaskell Family,
Our heart felt sympathies go out to all of you.
Dave was a great person, a talented man who was loved and appreciated by many.
Although I knew him best as his high school classmate at St. Thomas, I know he continued to be loved by many as a husband, father, son and brother.

I was a classmate of Dave's at St. Thomas Aquinas. I will always remember Dave as being one of the nicest people I met during my high school years. My condolences to the family.
