I am so sorry to learn of the loss of Dr. LeBeau. My parents and I were lucky enough to have Dr. LeBeau for our vet. He loved each and every animal from the bottom of his heart. He cried with us when we lost 2 of our dogs. I will never forget Dr. LeBeau. He was the best vet on the planet. He is definitely surrounded by thousands of people and pets and lives he touched in heaven!

Please accept my condolences to the family. Dean was a wonderful man and a great vet. I remember him from Zion and from watching his kids over the summer. So sad to hear of his passing. He had a great life and a wonderful family. Celebrate the memory of his life and know he will be waiting for you.

Dear Joan and Children
I was so sad to hear of the passing of Dr. LeBeau. No one will ever measure in my book or could compare to his love and compassion for my pets. He was empathetic when they passed and the whole staff was wonderful. It is not the same. He also worked w me as a single mom to be able to make payments and properly care for our animals. I still talk about his compassion today and always will

Dear Joan, Ashley and Shane,
I was so sad to hear of Dean's passing. I have known him since I was 6 and can't believe he is gone. Mother was very sad to hear that the man that took such loving care of her cats was gone. The good people seem to die way too young. You are in our prayers.

This world has NEVER had, nor will EVER have again, a man as compassionate and caring for animals and their owners as Dr. Lebeau was. He was the real Dog (and Cat) Whisperer. Our family has followed him with our pets for over 30 years, since he started at Schneider's. We and the animal lover community have really lossed a friend.

There are few people over the course of our life that make such an imprint on our heart. Dr. LeBeau is someone I will never forget. In the time I was privledged to work with him this past year, I learned that there are still good people out there who want to give of themselves to others. He was the most loving & caring genuine soul. He had such a calming effect over every animal he touched. He aspired me to be a better person and to make the most of my life. I cannot imagine the grief of his family, knowing him on a much more personal level. I pray that God to gives you comfort and strength to help in your healing.

Word got out to New Mexico about Dean's passing. Although I did not know him, my father, Ray M. Stockert, would have. I just know that he is in a Better Place now. From the obituary, note that he has done a lot for humanity in his lifetime. My grand father, Henry William Stockert, was his grandmother, Anna (Stockert) LeBeau's brother. I'm also a Capital U. graduate -- in 1955

I am very saddened to learn of Dr. Lebeau's death. Growing up in Canton he was the vet for my dog. He was a wonderful vet and man. I evaluate and measure my dogs' vets today against Dr. Lebeau - he is the standard & a tough one at that. It is sometimes difficult to find a vet who shares his caliber. He was the best. My thoughts & prayers go out to his family, friends & animals. He is now helping love our wonderful animals in Heaven. RIP & God Bless you Dr. Lebeau

Very shocked. my family has been taking our beloved pets to him since he was at Schneiders Pet Hosp. and then to Animal Care clinic. He always had a wonderful "bedside" manner with all his "patients" and their families. Dear LeBeau Family - our deepest sympathies to you at this time. I remember Dr. LeBeau as a child when he cared for my grandmother's (Vivian Paul) dogs. And then as an adult when he cared for my two Shelties, Chelsea and Chester. As a puppy, one the dogs fell off a deck and broke both of her back legs. After a night in the emergency clinic, Dr. LeBeau saw her the next day and cared for her throughout her recovery... which was 100%. You could tell he truly loved all animals and that is such a comfort to those of us who love them to. May all of the warmth and caring you recieve from others, plus your own memories, bring peace and comfort to you. Kelly & Wayne Hagenbuch, Madison WI (formerly Massillon, OH)

To the LeBeau family,
Dr LeBeau was our vet for over 20 years. He was more than a vet to our family. He was a compassionate, loving, dedicated human being. I will never forget him. The world has truly lost one of it's shining stars and great asset.

Dear LeBeau family, I was so saddened to hear of Dr. LeBeau's sudden passing. I have only the fondest memories as he cared for our animal family members. I pray God's loving arms will wrap around you all and give you strength as you go through this difficult time. He will be missed by many.

Dear Joan, Shane, Ashley and family,
We have such good memories of our soccer-parent years at Jackson of which Dean was such a huge part. We will never forget his great kindness to us on a 4th of July many years ago when he left a party to come to our house to comfort us when our beloved "Skippy" was hit by a car. We will always remember his kindness and the fun times we all had.

I am just one of the thousands of dog lovers that was so very blessed to have known Dean LeBeau. A collie that we owned several years had been diagnosed with heart worm and was on his way out when we pleaded with a vet in North Canton to give us the name of a vet in the area that would try to help us keep out dog alive and hopefully recover. The vet in North Canton told us to save our energy and start digging a hole in the back yard for the dog. He then told us about Dean and that he had had some luck with saving dogs diagnosed with heart worm. We took the dog to Dean and even tho the dog eventually died of kidney failure, Dean became our vet for many years to come. Dean and family were also neighbors at Lake Cable. It has been my honor and privledge to tell everyone I meet about the best vet I have ever known. I will continue to sing Dean's praises where ever I go. God Bless you Dean and all your family and staff at ACC.

Dearest LeBeau Family,
You have my deepest sympathy. I was just shocked and in tears to hear of Dean passing.
I have had the pleasure of knowing Dean since 1979. He took loving care of my poodle/terrier "Fluffy" for 12 years and my Dalmatian "Pongo" for 4 years till he retired from Animal Care Clinic.
This past year, I seen Dean on some of the office calls I made with my chow/terrier "Sidney" (recently passed) at Canal Fulton Animal Hospital.
He was so compassionate and made my dogs feel comfortable with him. I think he was a Dr. Dolittle
and could talk to the animals to make them understand.
I would think of Dean as an Angel on earth and now he has his wings in God's Heavenly Kingdom.
Ohh .. And you can imagine that the animals had a welcoming home party for Dean at the Rainbow Bridge.
I bet he got tons of kisses!
Take comfort in knowing that someday in God's paradise you shall see Dean again.
Love, Hugs and Prayers

Dear Joanie, Shane, Ashley & Families
I want you to know what an honor and a privilege it was to work with Doc all those years.I feel blessed to have known him, he taught me so much, but most importantly he taught me how to be a better human being, by his example. He had compassion for every living thing and a gentle touch, like no other I have seen. But it did not stop with animals.
He equally loved people as much. Be it an elderly person whom he showed respect and kindness or a grieving client over the loss of their beloved pet, he always reached out to them with a great big hug. Its not often in this lifetime that one is honored to share all those years, working beside such a man. I was one of the lucky ones> Thank you Doc for that! You always said we were a "family" at ACC, and we truely were! Thanks for the memories, dear friend. You will be missed! Joanie, Shane, Ashley & familes you are in our heart & prayers.God bless you & comfort you. Love Fay & John

Dear Joan & Family,
Mary and I are shocked and deeply saddened by this terrible news about Dean. Thanks go to your son Shane who called us tonight. I (Phil) knew Dean from a long way back. To bailing hay on the farm, training a steer named Pete to take to the fair, to graciously attending the Baptism and being my youngest son Eric's Godfather. Distance has kept us from visiting much in the past years but we think and speak about the LeBeau family often.
. Our hope is that somehow you can find peace knowing that Dean was a good, good God fearing man and a great friend of mine. ---May God comfort you in the days ahead.
Sincerely,

Dear Joan and Family,
We were devastated to learn of Dr. LeBeau's untimely passing. Tears flowed as we read of his wonderful life and the difference he made to so many people and animals. He made each pet feel like it was his own, and he made the owner feel caring, empathy and compassion. He truly understood the special relationship between people and their pets. Because of his willingness to try something outside the traditional medical box, our precious kitty Lucy has lived over twenty years. This is after we had been told repeatedly by others to put her to sleep at the age of six. We treasure the picture of Dr. LeBeau and Lucy on her twentieth birthday in April, 2010. He was her "Dockie." May God's blessings be with you. Know that Dr. LeBeau's memories shall forever remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him.

Dear Joan & Family:
So very sorry for your loss. Dean was a true inspiration in my youth and I sometimes wonder where my life would be if not for his nurturing when we worked together 30+ years ago. I always admired his upbeat energy and compassion. Though we have had no contact other than Christmas cards over the years, I feel his loss very deeply. You are in my prayers...

Dear LeBeau family, Our hearts go out to you. Dean was our pets Dr.. We were blessed to have known him in that capacity. Through the years we trusted and respected him, wishing we could find a "people" Dr. with the concern, compassion and kindness that he had. We will always remember how he helped us. His smile and laugh lightened tough times. May you find comfort and strength in your memories and the special ways his life impacted those that had the privilege to know him. Our continued prayers will be with you all. Sincerely, Kevin and Diane Schlub

I am so sorry about the tremendous loss of Dr Lebeau. I remember when I took one of my very ill dogs to him and he actually slept at his clinic with my dog Brandy. She went on to live a very long and healthy life thanks to this wonderful Doctor. We have all lost an incredible, caring, intelligent man.
Sincerely,
Sandy Piacente (Sunrise, Florida)

Dear Joan and family, all of us that were privileged to have known Dean as a colleague and friend, knew he was a special angel and God was only loaning him to us. He gave his whole heart to everything he ever did-- his profession, his family, his church, his friends, and of course his patients. He was a true treasure and the most compassionate, selfless, caring person there will ever be. We will all miss him so very much, and our hearts ache for you.

Joan & Family,
I was so saddened to hear of Dr. LeBeau. He taught me so much and he was a joy-filled man. I saw him a few months ago and he had a huge hug for me and seemed so excited to hear about my life. He will be missed by all the many lives he touched. You're all in my prayers. Much Love, Heather Kinney

Joanie, I am so shocked and so saddened that Dean is gone. He has been my role model and hero from the time I was a little girl and he was working at Schneider's Clinic. Never has there been or EVER will be a more kind, gentle, and compassionate Vet. He taught me so much and showed such compassion, especially when I lost my Trouble and when my Jackie was so sick with Parvo when I adopted him. There just aren't enough words to say how I feel about him. I will be keeping you and the children in my prayers. What a huge loss to our animal children and to humanity. They just don't get any better than him. I will never forget him and will never forget you either. I hope your memories and all the loving comments conveyed will help you in this terrible time.

Joan and family,
Dean was a friend and colleague, in school and our professional lives, and in our families. While we have not been close lately, due to our leaving the area, you all were often in our thoughts, with all of the good memories.
He will be missed.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Dr. LeBeau. I have never seen such true kindness and compassion from any others. Dr. LeBeau was a truly unique doctor that cared for his patients like his own. Heaven is getting a very special "Angel"
