Dennis
It´s been 5 years since you´ve passed and life has never been the same. Canton doesn´t seem the same when we come to visit. The Cardinal will never be the same. You touched so many peoples lives that it´s left such an emptiness but we still have your girl, Cindy, who we love dearly.

Wow, I didn't know Dennis passed. I wondered why I wasn't getting his news letters. I drove from Upper Marlboro, Maryland up to Dennis' shop in March 2006 with my raggedy Rem 1100 and he made a cheek piece for me and he never even hinted that I should get a better gun. I had a great time. He was a family man. The last time I talked to him he was happy to spend time with his dad. A good man and will be missed. God Bless!

I came out for a stock fitting the week end after the Pres election. I spent Friday and Saturday with Dennis and the gang. I had a really good time with Dennis, both shooting and going out for meals. I really liked Dennis and Im sure his family and friends will miss him very much.
God bless

Dennis,
You are missed.
You had a strong sense of right and wrong and took no prisoners when you knew you were right. A first rate student of the shotgun shooting disciplines. Some of your fitting concepts were unique but spot on. I'm sad we can't talk every month or so as we have these past few years. The eye struggles you suffered were tough for someone who loved to shoot as much as you did. You had a heart for the young shooters and the underdog.
Sadder yet that you left us before the new over and unders came out of the shop. The prototype was stout but sweet handling.
I know that you knew He was in charge and are looking down on us. I wish you could tell us how perfect the backgrounds are on the trap fields in heaven.
Cindy please accept my sincere sympathies.
Blessings on the family.

Dennis was at my shop Friday before his passing. Him not being on this earth has left a huge hole in the gun world that can never be filled. Over the past few years we had many discussions about his vision for the shooting sports. I can't wrap my head around the fact that I can no longer call him and we bounce ideas around. Cindy, my heart and hands go out to you and the family. Rodeo Man is missed!!

I took a class from Dennis and Dean many years ago in Minnesota. They made a lasting impression on me and we stayed in touch since. Dennis was a great man with a heart of gold.David M.

Ray and I are saddened and shocked by the departure of Dennis. He was a kind and loving man. When Ray was diagnosed with cancer in May, Dennis would contact me (via Messenger) about every month (or less) to see how Ray was doing. It was always comforting to hear from him. We are praying for him, his wife Cindy, his sons, his mother Dolly, and his sister Becky and Dwight and their family. May God be with all of them and give them His peace. Love to all, Marty and Ray Verlinich

The sudden loss of Dennis proves that life is so fragile and we may not understand why things happen the way they do. Sometimes life can seem extremely unfair. The world has lost someone so very special. What a blessing one person could be. I am honored to have known Dennis for the time I did. He was my Ohio family. I have cherished memories that I will never forget. My heart is broken.
Cindy may the love the two of you shared continue to radiate in your heart.
Nick and Paul I wish there were something I could say to ease your pain. You had an awesome dad
I will forever miss you.

Uncle Dennis words cannot express how much I love you and how much I am going to miss you. Growing with you I had such good memories, you, Aunt Cindy, Nick, and l Paul would take me everywhere, you are always going to have a piece of my heart. God has bigger plans for you.

I will miss our conversations, as well as, his thoughtfulness and insight into the "big picture." Visionaries often seem to leave us too soon and they are gone before their dreams are realized. He will be missed.
