Devon D. Sills, age 29, of Echoing Ridge Residential Center of Canal Fulton, formerly of North Canton, went home to be with the Lord on Monday morning following an extended illness. She was born in Canton, Ohio, on July 19, 1979, to William and Mary Kaye (Kolp) Sills. Devon had lived all of her life in the Canton area and had attended West Stark Workshop and Community Connections. Besides her mother, Mary Kaye, Devon was preceded in death by her twin sister, Misty Lynn Sills; and a maternal grandmother, Esther Kolp. Survivors include her father, Bill Sills of Canton, paternal grandparents, Frank and Mary Sills of Canton; maternal grandfather, Robert Kolp of North Canton; and various aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 11 a.m. in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel with Rev. David Harmon officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home. The family would like to express their deep appreciation to the staff and doctors of Echoing Ridge for their love, support, and tender care they gave to Devon and a special thanks to the PA's, especially Krista. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the Stark County MRDD.
