E. Arlene Koch

103, of Canton passed away on March 6, 2018. Arlene was born in Canton, Ohio, on September 22, 1914, to the late Arthur and Vera Schafer. She was a graduate of Canton McKinley High School and Canton Actual Business College. She was secretary for the Assistant Superintendent of Personnel for the Canton City Schools for 17 years. Arlene was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church for 90 years, where she taught Sunday School and was Treasurer of the Woman's Association. She was a member of the Eastern Star Legacy Chapter for 65 years, Trirosis Club, Suburban Garden Club, AARP, several card clubs and was Northeast Chairperson for the United Way. Preceded in death by husband, Roy Koch; and sister, Jayne Horton.

She is survived by son, Donald Koch; daughter, Marilyn (Peter) Seymour; grandchildren: Christine (Edward) Hannan and Eric (Shannon) Seymour; great-grandchildren: Edward Hannan, Charles Hannan, Josephine Seymour and Eleanor Seymour.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday March 12, 2018, at Christ Presbyterian Church, 530 Tuscarawas St. W., Canton, Ohio 44702, with Rev. Michael Wallace officiating. Family and friends may visit from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at Sunset Hills Burial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to her church. The family invites you to visit:
