ELAINE MITCHELL Obituary
Age 60, of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, with family at her side, after a short battle with cancer. She was born in Canton, Ohio, on October 4, 1957. She graduated from East Canton High School and Mercy School of Nursing. She was an RN for 39 years and was employed through the years in Illinois, California, Colorado, Texas and Ohio, ending her career at Mercy Medical Center. Elaine was preceded in death by her father, Glen Lang.
She is survived by her daughters: Nicola (Paul) Brooks, Emma-Leigh Mitchell, and Donna Mitchell; her grandson, Oryx Brooks was the light of her life; also survived by her mother, Roberta Lang; sisters, Deborah (Lloyd) Bailey, Evelyn (Steve) Collins; brothers, Richard Lang and Robert (Vanessa) Lang, and many other family members who will miss her deeply. Elaine was best known for her twisted sense of humor, her love for tea parties and her patience as an advisor to new RNs. The family wishes to thank Mercy Hospice for their care and compassion to Elaine and her family.
A Celebration of her life will be held Sunday, June 17th., from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Foltz Community Center, East Canton, Ohio. Memorial donations may be made to Mercy Hospice, Canton, Ohio. As per her wishes, she has been cremated. Arrangements entrusted to Paquelet Funeral Home, Louisville, Ohio.

I am so very sorry to hear of Elaine's passing. I have fond memories of Elaine nursing care, as she was my student nurse when I was in labor with my daughter 37 years ago. I am sure she was a great Nurse! My deepest heartfelt sympathy to her entire family.
