ELI TROYER Obituary

Eli B. "Bill" Troyer 1934-2017

age 83, of Hartville, passed away on Wednesday morning Dec. 13, 2017. He was born in Uniontown on Feb. 20, 1934 to the late Ben and Amanda (Beachy) Troyer and attended school in Hartville. He worked for Robert "Hoke" Hostetler at Clearwater Park for many years. He had a career spanning years in excavating for Jerome "Whitey" Graber and Bontrager Excavating. He liked the outdoors, loved hunting, fishing, going to auctions and the Hartville Flea Market, and his "morning meetings at Marathon".

He is survived by his wife, Judy; daughter, Debbie and Jon Miller; son Darrell Troyer; grandchildren Laura Miller, Robert "Bobby" (Misty) Troyer of Georgia, Sean (Amber) Weiner; great-grandchildren Eli and Abel, Camden and Tanner; siblings, Mose, Ben, David, Levi and Crist. Preceded in death by son, David and siblings, Abe, Melvin, Noah, Lavina Miller, Sue Hochstetler, Anna Troyer, Joni and Amanda Yoder.

Calling hours are Saturday 5-8 p.m. at Evermore Community Church and services are Sunday 2 p.m. in the Church. Final resting place is the Church cemetery. The family extends a special thank you to the staff at Heritage Villas for their heartfelt care.
