Eric Thomas Obituary
Age 43, of Canton died unexpectedly Sunday, May 27, 2012 in Mercy Medical Center. Born April 17, 1969 in Canton to Clifford and Grace (Stoner) Thomas. He was a life resident of Canton and a 1987 graduate of Canton South High School. Eric was the owner/operator of e. thomas Company and was formerly employed by Downtown Ford. He was a singer for various bands for many years.
He is survived by his parents, Clifford and Grace Thomas of Canton; two brothers and sister-in-law, Jim Thomas and Janice Bowman of New Jersey, Ryan and Sarah Thomas of Akron; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Pamela and Kevin Palmer of Massillon, Terri and Brad Clendenin of Canton, Jamie and David Taylor of Canton; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, June 1, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in Otterbein United Methodist Church, 6025 Shepler Church Rd., Navarre, OH 44662, with Rev. James Zimmerman officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 5-8 p.m. in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Otterbein United Methodist Church Music Department.

I have had the honor to get to know eric over the last 6 months in our band. I miss him dearly. He made me feel like we have been friends a long time. It is so hard to know he wont be there to sing, joke or just talk to. My prayers to the family. I miss you bro!
