Evelyn Freudeman Obituary
Age 93, of Canton, passed away Thursday, July, 12, 2018. She was born in Akron, Ohio on May 30, 1925 to the late Floyd and Virginia (Cain) Hill. Evelyn graduated from Kenmore High School in 1942 and worked for the Seiberling Rubber Company and Firestone before marrying her high school sweetheart in 1947. She was an avid reader who also enjoyed crocheting and traveling the country with her husband in their motorhome.
Besides her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Walter E. Freudeman, in 2015; and two sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca (Steve) Dechert of Bolivar, Ohio; a son, John (Diane) Freudeman of Burlington, North Carolina; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Gloria (Fred) Raby of Perrysville, Ohio. The family would like to give special thanks to Aultman Hospice and the staff of Hennis Care Centre of Bolivar for the exceptional care Evelyn received during her stay and to the staff and her friends at The Landings of Canton for all their support and prayers.
A private service for the family will be held at a later date. Following cremation the ashes will be interred at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio.
