Everett Clark Obituary

Everett "Doyle" Clark

Age 73 passed away at home on Feb. 2, 2021 after battling cancer with strength and grace for over four years. Doyle was the son of the late Kenneth and Georgia Clark. Born on July 3, 1947, he graduated from Perry High School. After barbering several years with his Dad at Kenny's Barber Shop as well as Meyers Lake Barber Shop, Doyle began his 40-year career as an electrician with 20 years at Schaub Electric and 20 years at Hilscher-Clarke Electric. When he retired, Doyle kept busy on many projects for friends and family as his extensive knowledge and skills for building or fixing anything were in great demand. He enjoyed fishing, helping everyone, loved being with friends and family, and especially loved playing and spending time with his grandchildren. A devoted father, he was kind and generous to everyone and never met a stranger. He was a member of the Lake Cable Fish and Sportsmen's Clubs as well as the Local 540 Electrical Union.

Doyle is survived by his wife, Ellen Clark, of 51 years; his daughter, Angie Deutschman; son, Adam (Patty) Clark; grandchildren, Jada and Jagger Foxx, Wyatt and Trevor Deutschman, their father, Matt Deutschman; brothers, Larry (Carol) Clark, Kim (Kay) Clark; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Frank and Karen Antonio (he loved her chicken pot pie!); and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Ann Cochran. The family thanks Aultman Hospice and all his Lake Cable friends for their help and support.

There are currently no services planned but a celebration of life where we can share all our fun memories may be held later. Donations can be made to the Cleveland Hope Lodge or the American Cancer Society. Doyle was a participant in the Cleveland Clinic Body Donor Program.

People like Doyle are few and far between. He never had an enemy, but many many friends. Such a great loss to the family and to his many friends. We need more people like Doyle. I´m certain that he is one of God´s Angels.

I will miss you very much Doyle. You were a great brother-in-law, friend and as many have said...loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Keep fixing stuff & keep your humor.

I met Doyle, as I always knew him, when he was assigned by HilscherClarke to Timken. He was always a great help and never hesitated to help no matter how often his services were required. We retired on the same day, he from Hilscher Clarke an I from Timken. However; when I ran into him at the barber shop, a great friendship developed for which I am very grateful! In addition to his friendship he became the best barber I ever had. He was also very kind to my 99 yr old Father-in-law .

Doyle was always a very good friend. He was always very helpful and interested in anything you were doing. I still have a picture of my sons very first haircut and my father took me as a young boy to get my haircut. My family has known Doyle and Ellen for years. I will miss him.
