Robert "Bob" Allen Clark of Columbus, OH, was born December 4, 1947 in Pomeroy, OH. Passed away February 23, 2026, at the age of 78. He was the second of five children born to William and Lois Clark.

Bob was a Navy Veteran in active duty from 1967-1971. His Tour on the USS Guadalcanal participated in the Apollo 9 Space Capsule Recovery Mission in March,1969. In the Navy Bob, reached the rank of ETR3 (Electronics Technician Radar Third Class).

Bob graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. He enjoyed all kinds of art whether it be painting, pottery, and most of all photography. He took his art degree and turned it into a photography business. Later he worked for Nationwide insurance in their print department. Once he retired from Nationwide, he took up his love of photography and nature to take pictures of birds and other wildlife, winning awards along the way.

Bob's greatest joy in life was his children and grandchild. Family was a big part of his life. Going to sports events was always a great time. He liked playing games with family such as board games and video games with his children.

Preceded in death by his father, William Clark, and sister, Kathryn Clark Weaver.

Survived by his mother Lois Clark celebrating her 100th birthday in May, of Pickerington, OH; daughter, Amanda Clark; son, Raymond (Stephanie) Clark; granddaughter, Lillian; brothers, Michael (Carol) Clark of Peoria, IL and Steven Clark of Seattle, WA; sister, Melissa (Rafael) Martin; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Thursday March 5, 11am-2pm at the O.R Woodyard Co Funeral Home South Chapel, 1346 South High Street, Columbus, OH, 43207.
