She is survived by her daughter, Sherrie Cohen Merchant (Fred); son, Ron Cohen; brother, George (Maureen) Glasser; grandchildren, Matthew (Kait) Cohen, Jerry Merchant, Sara (Frank) Staud, Brianna Merchant and Kara Merchant; many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her beloved dogchild, Coco.
Attended Ohio State University. Vice President of Crosby's Drugs, Inc. She was a past president of Tifereth Israel Sisterhood and founding member of Marburn Academy.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 2, 2026 at Epstein Memorial Chapel, 3232 E. Main St. Interment will follow at New Tifereth Israel Cemetery.
Shiva will be observed at the home of Fred and Sherrie Merchant on Monday evening from 4-7 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sandra's memory may be made to Congregation Tifereth Israel or Zusman Hospice in her memory.
