Gary Crowe Obituary
left his Estero, Florida paradise for another paradise on July 9, 2021. He was born July 16, 1937 in Zanesville, Ohio to Charles and Mary Crowe. He graduated from Canton South High School in 1955 and received a Master's Degree from Kent State University. He began his career in teaching at Springfield Local in Jefferson County, Ohio. Gary touched many lives throughout his career including those at Sandy Valley Local and later at Canton Timken High School where he taught Mathematics and coached boys and girls basketball. He was a long time resident of East Sparta.
Gary was preceded in death by a son, Daniel and a daughter Cathryn. He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Sedlock) of Estero, Florida; his son, Douglas and grandson, Owen of Baltimore, Maryland. Also, a sister, Marilyn Jarrell of Mansfield, Ohio.
Final arrangements will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Hattie Larlham in Mantua, Ohio or the Heinzerling Memorial Foundation in Columbus, Ohio.

Our sympathy goes out to Gary's family. Your mother is listed as a lifetime member of Stark County Retired Teachers Association and Ohio Retired Teachers Association. I am the welfare committee for SCRTA. I just wanted to be sure to send our sincere sympathy for your loss. Wish the best to his wife and your mother, Barbara. I have so many fond memories of Mr Crowe. Some examples:fishing in Canada and NY with him and my dad. Golfing, camp fire chats, and tagging along. I loved hearing his stories. He brought many smiles to everyone. Rest in peace Mr Crowe.

My sympathy to Gary´s family. This wonderful teacher spent extra time with me when he was teaching me Geometry. He saw my frustration and encouraged me everyday. I never forgot his dedication and kindness. Rest in peace, Mr.Crowe.

My love , respect and Prayers to your Family ! I remember Gary as a high school kid , then a teacher at Sandy Valley. Barb , you will remember the big Albery Family . Also, I remember when your Mom was the Secretary at North Industry Grade School. HUGS and good memories for the coming time .
