GASPARINO SETTIMIO Obituary
age 92 of Canton, passed away January 2, 2021. Born in Canosa Sanista, Italy to the late Antonio and Maria (DePalmo) Settimio, he was preceded in death by his brother Sabatino. He was a member of Christ the Servant Catholic Parish and the I Gagliardi Italiani. He retired from the Timken Roller Bearing Company in 1994 after 20 years of service.
Gasparino is survived by his wife of 67 years Nicoletta (Cantoli) Settimio, sons Antonio, Bruno (Regina), Robert (Holly), and Danny (Sharon) Settimio, grandchildren Michael (Christina) Settimio, Nicole (Michael) Schade, Ashley Settimio (fiancee John DeVisser II), Sarah (Chad) Cline, Greg Settimio, Michelle (Byron) Wingate, nine great grandchildren; Mason Cline, Olivia, Emily, and Anna Schade, Anthony and Gabriel Settimio, Alexa, Natalie, and Tyler Wingate, sister-in-law Lucy Settimio, niece Maria (Chet) Halasinski, nephew Antonio Settimio, and daughter-in-law Deborah A. Settimio.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. Masks are mandatory and social distancing will be observed. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, 10:00 am, at Christ The Servant Catholic Parish. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Due to COVID concerns there will be no bereavement luncheon.
