James Ledford Obituary
age 74, of Canton passed away on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012. He was born Jan. 19, 1938 in Canton, Ohio. James retired from Republic Steel and was an avid golfer. He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Helen Ledford and sister-in-law, Trudy Ledford.
James is survived by his wife, Jill; four sons, James Jr., Thomas (Barbara) of North Benton, Stephen (Sandy) of Alaska and Richard (Kris); daughter, Michelle Derwin; nine grandchildren and one special grandson buddy, Rusty Derwin; three great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Ledford of Ruskin, Fla.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012 at 3 p.m. in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to a charity of your choice.
