JEFFERY WHITMYER Obituary
Age 56, of Massillon, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018, after an extended, courageous battle with cancer. He was a graduate of GlenOak High School. Jeff loved riding his Harley and enjoyed poker runs that benefited charities for disabled children. Jeff spent 36 years as a rehab sales evaluator for pediatric and adults with special needs. Jeff was a Assistive Technology Practitioner for Millers.
He is preceded in death by his father, David. Jeff is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Susan Day; mother, V. Evelyn of Canton; sister, Pamela Spicocchi of Toledo; mother-in-law, Norma Omicinski; niece, Angela; nephew, Nick (Kiley); great-nieces, Olivia and Brooke; great-nephews, Ethan, John, and Luke; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, sisters-ln-law, and brothers-in-law.
A service for Jeff will be announced in a later edition. Arrangements entrusted to the Mark R. Vrabel Funeral Home of North Canton (330-452-4041).

I think about you so often and cant believe its gonna be 2 years... I was thinking the other day about the trip I made to the river and spent the night with you in your trailer. You allowed me to ride on the dirt bike that was way to tall for me and cooked steak for me. Consoling me over a troubled relationship and making me laugh telling crazy stories! We sure have alot of great memories! We sure do miss you!!!

Extending. My thoughts and prayers to the Whitmyer family ,I will always keep in my mind all the fun Jeff and myself had as childhood friends , playing on the swings in the back yard , playing with our trucks in the sandbox and the hours apon hours of riding our bikes up and down Milford all day long . I will always remember those great times

I was saddened to hear of Jeff's passing. He became like a big brother to me during our years at Miller's. I loved him, he drove me crazy and saved my butt a few times...just like a family member does. He forgot more info in this industry then I will ever know.
Jeff, I hope your pain is gone and I am so glad to have known you. Men like you are rare. You touched many lives in such a positive and constructive way.

Jeff was a good friend of my dad's. Growing up I always thought of him as a big teddy bear. He was a truly kind and caring person. After my dad passed in 04, Jeff would call and stop by to check on us and help my mom with things. When I was in the school play 2 years later, he made my costume. I was Iago, the parrot in Aladdin and everyone raved about how awesome my costume was. Our family was blessed to know him. Sending all my love, thoughts, and prayers to his family. ❤

Was friends with Jeff growing up but I moved away to Colorado in 1991. He helped my dad out a few years ago with a wheel chair but I never made contact with Jeff. He left us too soon. My condolences to Jeff's family.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Jeff's passing. You were a wonderful friend that I had the pleasure to grow up with. I remember many times drinking a beer in your parent's garage as you fixed my car.
