Schilling Family

I just found out that Jeff has passed to be with our Lord. I knew Jeff through singing in the choir at the Chapel - he was always sitting behind me. Jeff was the same age as my son, so we talked alot about mom and son stuff. After my family's move to Florida 8 years ago, Jeff and I kept in touch.

After all these months, I send prayers to your family; his passing came as a real shock to me, let alone to you as a son. I rejoice with you in his life and I know we will all see him again in a blink of the Lord's eyes. Blessings and condolances be with you.

Hi Jeff,
Today is Bobby's Senior Night at Football. It is supposed to rain so I don't know if I can go. You would enjoy the posts on that "political" list you and I belonged to! I laugh and think of you when I read them. I am so glad you don't have to worry about politics in Heaven!

Love ya much,
Sis XXOO

October 7, 2009

Hey,
It is October 7 and very chilly today. You would be telling me that it will snow soon which we both know is not your favorite season. The girls say hello to you and Jesus every morning on the way to school. Shari, at the restaurant, told them you are now a star. They laughed and said no....that you just help God make them shine. They were very direct with her that you live in Heaven now.

I know this will surprise you. Mom is getting a puppy to keep her company. A new breed called a Yorkie-Poo will soon have the run of the house. LOL I know it will entertain her during the long winter.

Talk to you again soon!
Love ya,
Sis XXOO

Hi Bro,
It was a month yesterday since you began your wonderful new life. I know you are happy and it is beautiful. Mona went to Washington and carried a sign that said...Jeff, This is for you! I am sure you saw it! Selfishly, I want you here with us some more!!! Then, I realize that that would be awful for you having seen and done what you have since you left. So, enjoy yourself! Know that we love you with all of our hearts!!
Love,
Sis XOXO

Hey Jeff,
I know you know today is September 11th. I did a patriotism lesson with my class that would have made you proud. I told them about how you were such a patriotic man and loved the USA!
Love you,
Sis XO

Hi Jeff,
I just got an email from Katie that Dad picked up your stuff at Sterling. It hit me again and I cried. I khow you are happy and would not want to come back. It still hurts. I am so glad my girls were so close to you. They comfort me like you would not believe. Would you mind coming by and giving me a hug every so often? I really need it bro!

Hi Jeff,
Diane sent you a balloon from her birthday last night. I am sure you got it cause she asked God to make sure. We miss you terribly but know you are happier than you ever have been and I wouldn't want you to miss that. I may write to you here from time to time as it helps me cope here on Earth. I love you brother and will forever.

I spent a long time trying to figure out what I wanted to say as Jeff and I have been close friends since we started together in Customer Service.

I have never been happier that our employement paths crossed again at Sterling when he left customer service.

My family always knew that if I was an hour late coming home I was probably standing in the parking lot talking to Jeff about what was going on with him and his family. My husband once joked since I wouldn't interrupt my conversation to talk to him, he should learn to try to call Jeff instead.

I am unbelievely saddened by your loss and to say I am in shock can't ever really say enough.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

To Bob and Family-
As you know, I am the Schilling cousin that is not really related. I met Jeff at Sterling as we kept getting each other's E-mail. Jeff was quite the character and always made me laugh. He was so proud of all of the nieces and nephews and gave frequent updates. He will be missed. Please be comforted in the fact that he is in the palm of God's hand....

To the family of Jeff,

Though I knew him a very short time he always was such a nice guy! He came in and smiled tried to stay positive and always seemed to make me leave work with a smile (since he had late appointments). He cared so deeply of his family and told me at his last visit all the things that were going on with you all. He always remained positive and kept a good attitude. When I heard of this tragedy I was very upset. When Jeff was on the schedule, I knew my day would be end just fine. He was one of my favorites. Jeff you will be missed!

August 23, 2009

Bob and Diane,

I worked with your son, Jeff at Dairy Queen many moons ago. One of my funny Jeff stories is when he dropped his glasses in the fryer! He just pulled them out and gave a big chuckle. He will be greatly missed.

My deepest condolences to you and your family at the loss of Jeff. Although I didn't know him well, I did have the extreme pleasure of helping to raise my voice to our Lord while singing in The Chapel choir in Akron.

May God hold you close in this time of sorrow and leave you a peace that passes all understanding. Allow your faith in God to give you comfort and always know that Jeff will continue to live on in your hearts.

To The Schilling Family,

I was shocked to hear of Jeff's passing, along with many co-workers here at Sterling. I had the privilege of working with Jeff my 1st year here at Sterling and sat across from him. I learned so much from him. He was a gentle man. Through the years we would see each other in the halls and talk about Disney World(a place we both love). Each November, at Toy R Us, I would see him and his sister Christmas shopping for the nieces and nephews he loved and talked about so much. He will be missed. My prayers are with all of you. Jeff is resting in peace with God.

My deepest sympathy,

Many thoughts and prayers go out to Jeff's friends and family. We are shocked and saddened by the loss of Jeff who was one of the best co-workers and team mates anyone could imagine. Jeff was the mastermind of many things that make us and our business a success, but most of all he was a prince of man who anyone would be proud to call a friend, and we are all better from knowing him. You will be dearly missed Jeff, our only comfort is knowing your reach is now limitless.

Dear Schilling Family: I'm not even sure how to explain the shock I had over hearing this news! Jeff was a good friend and I always enjoyed our conversations around Christmas concert time. Since we were at two different campuses of the Chapel, I missed being able to talk with him regularly.
I know God will hold you in His everlasting arms and comfort you during this time. Please know I will continue to lift all of you up to our Father. Love to all of you -

To Jeff's Family and Friends,

The pain of losing Jeff so suddenly has been felt by many here at Sterling. Personally, I will always cherish my early morning talks with Jeff, he would never let me walk away without telling me to make it the best possible day I could. His kindness and compassion were so apparent in his everyday actions. He had a genuine interest in each of his co-workers lives and his optimism will be missed greatly.

On behalf of my team, our hearts go out to all of you at this time and in the days ahead.
