JoAnn Esposito
age 79, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012. She was born January 3, 1933 in Greenville, Ohio to the late John and Mildred (French) McEowen. JoAnn was an RN for Aultman Hospital, retiring after 25 yrs. of service. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Louisville. She graduated from Louisville High School, Class of 1950, and the Aultman School of Nursing.
JoAnn is survived by her husband of 56 years, Tony Esposito; two daughters and sons in law, Sharon and Denny Simpson of Texas, Sandra Esposito and Kevin Mangin of Chicago; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael Esposito of Connecticut, Anthony and Laura Esposito of Louisville; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Jean and Harland Miller and Martha Bell and her brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Noreen McEowen all of Louisville; nine grandchildren, Alecia and Brian Simpson, Katherine and Rocco Mangin, Jennifer, Jack and Alex Esposito, Abby and Tori Esposito, many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jim McEowen.
Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Saturday morning at Stier-Israel Israel Funeral Home with Fr. Lawrence Frient officiating. Calling hours will be 6-8 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be in the St. Louis Parrish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Aultman Hospital, Compassionate Care Center, 2821 Woodlawn NW, Canton, Ohio 44708.

Tony,

I returned to Canton a few years ago to take care of my father during his final days, Mel Carothers. Gus haas been cutting my hair, and I always ask about you. You were always so cool when Dad was so strict. Thanks for your understanding and compassion.

I regret the loss of your wife and wish there was someting I could convey to comfort you and your family at this time. However, I am honestly at a loss for words.

My heart goes out to you and your family, please aceept my expression of sympathy.
