Joseph Kopache Obituary
90, of Canton, passed away Friday, December 25th, peacefully in his home. Born in Canton on January 3, 1930, a son of the late Joseph and Jennie Kopache, also preceded in death by his wife, Teresa A. Kopache and daughter, Jennie Kratzer. A graduate of McKinley High School, he was employed for many years at Republic Steel of Canton. Served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict with the 24th Engineers Battalion. He was a member of the former St. Paul's Catholic Church, the former Croation Club, and a current member of the VFW Post 3747. Joseph was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hiking, fishing and camping.
Survived by daughter,Renee Kopache of Cincinnati; four sons, Jospeh Kopache Jr. of Canton, James (Cindy) Kopache of East Canton, Steven (Jean) Kopache, Richard Kopache all of Canton; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held for the family. Burial will take place in Evergreen memorial Gardens. The family requests memorial donations be made to the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 3747, 1935 Avalon Ave NE, Canton, OH 44705. You may add your condolences on our website:

Cousins, never did i meet another person in my whole life that could turn a story better than Uncle Joe! Sure he left some of the details out for our sakes. They were new every time he told them.
