Joyce Warner Obituary
of Bolivar passed away Dec. 19, 2020 at the Truman Hospice House New Philadelphia. She was born Aug. 25, 1947 to the late Gerald S. and Ruth L. (Hollback) Jackson. She graduated from Glenwood High School class of 1965 and went on to get her teaching degree from Kent State. She taught at St. Clement, Navarre, St. Anthony's and Our Lady of Peace from where she retired after 25 years. From there she went on and taught in the Plain Local Schools and Sandy Valley Local where she retired again. Joyce had a passion for gardening, antiquing and cooking, but most of all her love for her dog, Diesel.
She is survived by her son, John M. Warner, of Idaho; sister, Kay (Gary) Cleveinger, of North Canton; niece, Kimberly (Mark) Martina; nephew, Ryan (Jennifer) Powell; twin aunts, Marcella Austin and Marjorie Furney; two great-nephews; one great-niece; three great-great-nephews and two great-great-nieces; cousins; dearest friends, Freddie Hasting and Paul Heagerty.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020 at Reed Funeral Home North Canton Chapel, 801 Pittsburg Ave. NW North Canton, Ohio 44720 from 10am to 12 p.m. with a service to follow at 12 p.m. Burial will follow in North Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations maybe made to Holy Trinity Church, Zoar or Truman Hospice House, New Philadelphia. Please visit www.reedfuneralhome.com to sign the online guestbook.
