Katelyn Dewell Obituary
Our little princess went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Feb. 25, 2011 after a three year battle with Tay Sachs Disease. She was born Nov. 29, 2007 in Canton, Ohio.
Katelyn will be deeply missed by her loving parents Craig and Jolyn Dewell; grandparents, Tim (Demaree) Welch and Cathy (Mike) Sharp; great grandparents, Jo-ann Battista, John (Mary) Shonts, Jim (Evelyn) Cravens and Aleta Dewell; uncle, T.J. Welch; godparents, Nick (Maritza) Sowards and numerous, aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends, Diane Horn (Thanks for all your help) and the Halter family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the friends that helped along the way, Sarah, Paul and Lucy Quinn, all of our good friends at the Irish Exchange, Americold, McKinley Cafeteria Girls and the West End Tavern and our good neighbors, Dave and Mary Brozovic.
We will always LOVE and REMEMBER you forever Katelyn our Sweet Little Princess. Love, mama and dada.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel. Burial will follow in the Sunset Hills Burial Park. The family will receive friends in the funeral home on Tuesday, March 1 from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel, 705 Raff Rd SW Canton, Ohio 44710 to help defray funeral expenses. BALLOONS
I wonder what color my balloons will be,
but as an Aunt it doesn't matter to me.
It can be many colors, I choose pink, purple and red.
I think I will pick a color for Katelyn.I will let that pink one go to the sky and it will fly very high.
Until it reaches Heaven for our little Princess Katelyn and she will be filled with so much joy.
And they will be filled with Katelyn's whispers. Katelyn didn't live very long and so her mama and dada had to let her go.
She will always be in our hearts,
She will always be our sweetheart.
So anytime you see a balloon float by, think of our little angel Katelyn.

Craig and Jolyn, we want to say we love and care about you with all of our hearts, Katelyn was so beautiful and such a precious child. We need not to morn her passing but cherish the wonderful and special times that we did have with Katelyn. It's not fair that someone so innocent and full of hope and dreams be taken from a great family, But we know she is in heaven with all of our and her family that has passed .
