Kathy Hemperly Obituary
57, of Fort Walton Beach passed away peacefully on Friday, Aug. 14, 2015 at University of South Alabama Medical Center. She was born on Aug. 29, 1957 in Massillon, Ohio and graduated in 1975 from Massillon, Washington High School. Kathy resided in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 30 years. Loved her beloved, Ohio State Buckeyes, adored her grandchildren and enjoyed the ocean.
Kathy is survived by her son, Nickolas D. (Jennifer) Atkins, of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Eric L. (Serena) Atkins, of Massillon, OH, daughter, Heather L. Hemperly of Massillon, OH; four
grandchildren, Aaliyah, Jacob, Callie & Makayla; her sister, Robin (Greg) Kinney; niece, Amanda Kinney and great nieces, Elliana & Leila. She was preceded in death by her father, David Atkins (1986) and mother, Janice Atkins (2004).
Services will be held Thursday, Aug. 20, 2015 at 10 a.m. at McLaughlin Mortuary, 17 Chestnut Ave SE, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548.For online condolences, please visit www.Mclaughlinmortuary.com

First & foremost, I wanted to thank all of you for your kind words & condolences. It's nice to know how much my Mother was admired at her job, etc.
I will never truly be able to find the right words to express how hard it is to lose you, especially at such a young age. I never imagined this day would come so soon! It's still very surreal, it hurts that I can't just pick up the phone & call you, hear your voice, see your smile.. You'll forever be missed, Mom. I love you!
