Katie Troyer Obituary

Katie Troyer
age 95, of Uniontown, went to be with the Lord Sunday night, March 1, 2015. She was born on the home place in Hartville on July 16, 1919 to the late Menno and Nancy (Miller) Troyer. She was a member of the Pleasant View AM Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, Clarence in 2004; four infant children including Katherine and Clarence Jr.; and seven siblings. She is survived by children and spouses, Martin and Shirley of Sarasota, Fla., Melvin and Ina Troyer of Alliance, Elsie and Andrew Helmuth of Sandy Lake, Pa., Marvin and Neoma Troyer of Lake Placid, Fla., Violetta and Joe Troyer of North Canton, and Carol Troyer of Uniontown; 16 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Mattie Byler of Belle Center, Ohio and Amanda Sommers of Uniontown.
Calling hours are Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Cornerstone Mennonite Church. Funeral services will Thursday 10 a.m. with Home Zook and Elmer Yoder officiating. Final resting place is Walnut Grove Cemetery.
