Though I never knew Mr. Moran, I've heard many wonderful stories about him through his daughter Gail. He was truly an inspiration, showing all that his age, blindness and health issues were never obstacles to a full, happy and healthy life. We were amazed by his incredible successes in swimming! Gail, we are thinking of you and your sister, during this sad time. Anne & Gary

Ken was a very special man, an inspiration to all. We feel very fortunate to have seen him this month again at the Blind Vets picnic and spent time visiting with him. He will me missed.

This truly was a man that distributed a true Irishman in many ways. I would have coffee early in the morning at The Canton Regency with him and have great conversations and laughter about his many years of reminiscing and story telling of his love of his Navy and the love that he had for his children. But for the great swimmer that he was. He won the Senior Olympics in Louisiana winning the coveted Gold Medal in swimming. Truly a great person. My condolences to the family.
