DEAR LINDA AND FAMILY,

WE WERE SADDENED TO HEAR ABOUT THE DEATH OF YOUR DEAR HUSBAND AND FATHER OF 4 SPECIAL CHILDREN. HE WAS A GREAT ASSET TO MINERVA AND MALVERN FOR MANY YEARS. THE SERVICE CLUBS WILL BE LOST WITHOUT HIM ALSO.
I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HOW HE AND I WERE BOTH BIDDING ON THE BICYCLE OF LOUENZA PEASE, YEARS AGO. LORENZA WAS THE LADY THAT RODE IT BACK AND FORTH ON U S RTE 30, FOR YEARS, TO GO TO CANTON AND BACK. WE BOTH HAD INTENDED TO DONATE IT TO THE MINERVA HISTORICAL SOCIETY. FINALLY ROGER STAFFORD (AUCTIONEER) SAID - “WHY DO YOU KEEP BIDDING SO HIGH ON THE OLD BICYCLE?” WITH OUR REPLIES THE BIDDING STOPPED AND IT WAS DONATED TO A WORTHY CAUSE.
JAY WILL DEFINITELY BE MISSED BY ALL THAT KNEW HIM.
