Linda Roberts Obituary

Linda Ann Roberts
Age 59, of North Canton, went Home to be with God Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 12:05 a.m. from Stone Crossing Care Center in Canton. She was born Aug. 23, 1951 in Morgantown, W.Va. She received her BA in Psychology from Kent State University and her RN from Walsh University. She worked for Omar Elazar, M.D., Stark Attention Center, Timken Mercy Hospital, Sumser/ St. Josephs/Smith (DON)/ and Green Meadows nursing homes.
She is survived by daughter, Lynoor A. Roberts (fiance, J. Scott Bacon and grandson, Adrian Daniel Bacon) and son, Daniel J. Roberts; parents, Lear R. Roberts and Agnes W. Roberts; sisters and brother, Emma L. Stoll, M.D., Dale A. Roberts (Nancy Wolfe), and Susan K. Statesir; niece, Michelle E. Talenda (Kevin, Kaelin, and Jaxson); and cat, Tiger Lily. Preceded in death by grandparents, R. Clyde Roberts (Ollie D.) and Harper B. Wiley (Emma L.); uncles, Wendel D. Roberts, Edwin N. Roberts, and Robert H. Wiley; and beloved dogs, Missy, Penny, and Chia.
The fondest memories of her growing up include the family vacations to the Wiley's log cabin in Morgantown every summer. She was a member of Canton Christian Fellowship. She loved Fleetwood Mac, all things purple, the TV show "ER", and was a huge Cleveland Indians fan. She collected watches and snowmen. The best memories her children and niece have with her are when she took them to amusement parks every summer. Her enthusiasm made the hours in line for the Magnum a lot more fun. She was never happier than when she found out that she was going to be a grandma. 'A Nanna is a mom with extra frosting.' 'Sweet wonderful you; You make me happy with the things you do; Oh, can it be so; This feeling follows me wherever I go.' - Fleetwood Mac. She will always be with us.
There will be no services. She donated her bone marrow to Medcure and is being cremated upon her request. The family will receive her ashes to spread at a later date. We love you and miss you Honey, Sis, Mom, and Nanna. You will always be at home in our hearts.

Lynoor and family,

We are so very sorry for your loss. This was a beautiful peek into her life, sounds like she was a wonderful person. We know she will be greatly missed, but Lynoor don't forget she will always be there with you and your son, looking over you and being such a proud mother and grandmother!
